Andirons Arts & Crafts Hand Forged Hammered Steel and Brass

A lovely pair of antique hand forged STEEL (not cast iron) Arts & Crafts period andirons. They have and intricate brass tops with brass decoration on lower part of the front and on the legs, the body is made from hand hammered steel and the dogs are cast iron. They are entirely hand forged and beautifully crafted. They are in great condition, with the dogs of the andirons having some wear as they were used, they have a lot of life left. This is a rare find and would look stunning in front of your fireplace! They are each 23.5" tall x 14" wide from foot to foot x 21" dogs. Total length 23" They each weigh 29lbs They will be shipped in separate boxes and fully insured. Due to weight and size of each box the shipping will be a little high.
