This cognac-colored, swingy-fringed, nipped-@-waist (is adjustable inside w. cord toggle lock), hooded - edged w. fox fur was so cool when I bought it — way in the “way-back-machine” — in 1988. It was a major statement piece. Whenever I wore it, I received tons of attention and compliments. In fact, I mostly opted not to wear it because I was uncomfortable creating a stir. “I’d be a terrible celebrity,” said the wallflower. 😂 Trying it on now - feels a bit roomy; maybe I could have gone w the XS. (I’m 5’1” for relative sizing.) In any case this jacket caused a real stir and it’s in great almost-perfect condition. Per the usual too-much-in-the-closet behavior, I forgot about it. Packed in plastic way in the back of secondary coat closet. With Cowboy Carter at top of charts and fringe very in-vogue this season, I kinda’ want it. No, can’t, I’m too old to rock this. It belongs on a younger, hipper millennial, genX or Z-er. 🛍️🤎
