it took a long time for my dad to realize he needed Jesus it took the death of my mother for him to accept Christ as his savior. he died 10 and 1/2 months later of Alzheimer's but he always remembered he was God's child! so I am very happy that day are safe and sound and I will see them again someday!! π₯°

@thecount1977 thank you for asking but I'm not better every day I've been having migraines. my insurance won't cover all of the medications that I need so it's difficult my former insurance paid for everything and I had a much better quality of life. Hope you are doing well my friend sorry I've been out of contact but just trying to navigate life. when I feel good I try to get some things done and then it's back to a migraine LOL πποΈ

@mirthandwhimsy please don't apologize, I know migraines are horrible. I feel really bad that you are suffering because they won't cover your medication. That is ridiculous, is there anyway you can get samples or possibly the drug company offers a discount. I hope you can get something a generic version or something similar. You can't be in pain on a daily basis. I'll be thinking about you, please try to take it easy

@thecount1977 I talked to the neurologist this morning via phone appointment and Kaiser just does not cover getting all three medicines that I need they just will not approve at they are nonprofit and I guess cheapo when it comes to taking care of their patients. I have jumped through every hoop possible with them but that is their final word

@thecount1977 thanks I really appreciate it! it infuriates me as well . I just need to try to look at the positive and move forward. I checked with the company that makes the drugs and they only work with insurance companies no coupons outside of insurance companies. but at least I have two of the medicines I need that's better than nothing! I'm so dreading when we turn 65 in 5 years and Medicare kicks in. I probably won't get any of the medicine I even have now....

@thecount1977 yes I worked in the garden and the weather was lovely today not too hot but I think we're in for a hot spell starting Monday and I hate that! stuck inside in the cold air conditioning but thank God for air conditioning or I would be complaining about that hahaha I just like to be outside in the summer you live in California where it's nice a lot and we treasure our nice days up here in Oregon!

my husband works for the school district and he is a mechanic on the buses and it is also hot dirty work, he's also a bus driver but obviously that's not working right now LOL with no kids in school

@mirthandwhimsy I do water treatment and run boilers for factories. So I'm inside and outside. Hot in summer and freezing in winter. So I get the best of both lol.
That's cool hes a mechanic for the school's. That's a good job, we will see what happens in September with the school schedule

@thecount1977 You tooπ€ I have had a severe autoimmune problem and have hives all over my body and head! I have been beyond measurable I am on such high doses of antihistamines and prednisone to try and calm my body down. don't know what happened to me or how I got this allergic reaction! it has been two weeks since it started I have to be on these drugs 4 weeks and they don't make me feel too good either but they are helping the hives. God bless my friend

I was in hospital twice last week for urgent Care! they even gave me epinephrine pens in case I went into anaphylactic shock! but I am doing fine so far as that goes and a itching as a little less it was making me crazy scratching and of course making it worse...lost a ton of hair this morning from all of the histamine soaring through my system that was very discouraging. oh well this too shall pass π₯°ππ

@thecount1977 I was just thinking about you LOL the rash is better but I feel very depleted and I've had three days of migraines now. the migraine medicine is making me lose a lot of hair which is very disappointing and disheartening! it's been a rough month for sure! and we have been surrounded on all sides with wildfires many people have died and hundreds have lost their homes and four cities in Oregon don't even exist anymore because they've been ravaged by flames

thankfully the smoke is finally gone around Beaverton due to a lovely rain we had so we are praising God being able to breathe again as we had the worst air quality in the whole world, noxious and poisonous couldn't see like pea soup around here for a while but thankfully we still have our homes!

@thecount1977 my friends live over in Australia and it was a devastation beyond imagination! Armageddon. it's the same thing with the cities in Oregon they are literally not there anymore it looks like a nuclear bomb went off....π

and all those poor people who have lost everything I am just so grateful that we still have our home and that our children still are safe and grandchildren etc period thanks be to God that we were protected this time! global warming due to mankind's ruining it is affecting all of our weather. I don't think there's any coming back from this it will just get worse that's what the climatologists say

@thecount1977 sorry I've been out of communication, lot going on here. I had a run on migraines again. And my son who also has terrible migraines had brain surgery yesterday. They found a mass on his pineal gland which they think is a cyst we find out next week is the gamma knife surgery worked. thank you for checking in my friend please pray for us especially my son Derrick. no matter what God is in control praise His holy nameβ€π

@thecount1977 you are such a dear! I'm shooting up some prayers for you as well sweetie! We won't know if the surgery was a success until next week when they do a scan. Thank God it was not a conventional surgery so he won't have a scar in the recovery of this is much easier but it leaves him very depressed anxious and creepy crawly all over his body because his brain was so traumatized
