BHLDN “Claremont” sheath wedding gown. Size 2. I’m 5’6” 128lbs and the boots I wore had a bit of a heal. Has been cleaned. Excellent condition. Well cared for. Originally $1470 with $200 in alterations to slightly hem the front and attach a French bustle. My measurements 34bust, 26waist, 31hips. When I put this dress on, I knew instantly it was the one. Comfortable yet fitted. Pure magic. I hope you love wearing it as much as I did.

ellkaiser @danihart17 hi there, sorry it’s taken so long for me to respond. You’ve probably gotten a dress by now but I’m not sure how you could try on other than going into an Anthropologie store and requesting to try on the “Claremont gown”

You could always schedule to try on at the store but I know not all Anthropologie stores carry the wedding collection. I can tell you my measurements are 34bust, 26waist, 31hips. I have an athletic build.

byrdsav Hi! I just bought this dress for my elopement because I caught it on a crazy good deal and loved it. The catch was that they only had a size zero. I am normally a size zero, but Im still very nervous that it will be too small. Can I ask is size 2 your normal size or did you size up? Did you try on a zero and what is the sizing like? Sorry I am very anxious awaiting its arrival.

ellkaiser @byrdsav hi there! Congratulations! As far as sizing goes, I usually wear a 0 or 2 and for me, a 2 fit like a glove. I think odds are in your favor!

ellkaiser @junejuly86 Hi there, The dress was purchased as a size two and I didn’t have any alterations done, aside from shortening the front very modestly... maybe an inch or two (I’m 5’6” and my boots had a 1-2inch heel) and then I did also have a hook and loop installed for the French bustle in the back. Everything else untouched. Really, in perfect condition.

ellkaiser @heathvo hi there! My measurements are in the dress description but let me know if there are any other areas you’d like me to measure. This dress wasn’t altered, other than the bustle and a slight hem in the front of the dress, so true to Anthropologie size 2.

ellkaiser @briesk just saw this! My firm purchased the hanger years back, so I am not sure where it is from. We have a lot of classic ol’ boy decor at my office so I assume antique stores would be your best bet

ellkaiser @hana_ish hi Hana, sorry I am just seeing your message. There is some give but the top portion is pretty much set. Down through the waist and hips, it is more forgiving. Let me know if you have any more questions. I tend to range between a 26/27 as well, except I swear sizes keep getting bigger. In madewell and Zara, I’m more of a 25/26. Hope that helps!

ellkaiser @mlstathers684 hi there! My boots were 1.5in tall. I think you could probably wear as-is but a slight trim to the front might help you if your shoes are completely flat. I didn’t wear a bra or anything because there are cups sewn in but you could do whatever is most comfortable.
