🌚Anthropologie Linea Carta Monogram Canapé Plate M Majestic Moonlight

Calligrapher Diva Pyari collaborated with Anthropologie on this wonderful alphabet of plates. Pyari was inspired by vintage flash cards she collected while traveling, and her illustrations are spot on. The design is anchored by her masterful lettering. This one sums it up with “majestic moonlight.” Slivers of the moon, expertly shaded and mysterious. I love that she chose Moonlight for “M”. Also, this design is softer. Pyari seems to have created the illusion that you are looking at the illustrations through a sliver of moonlight, like seeing a dream. Collectible and sold out on Anthropologie. A letter M plate features figures of 7 moon phases. The simplicity and reserve with which the designer renders her art is calming. There is a small indentation under the glaze near figure 5. A pencil points to it. It’s under the glaze and was like that when I purchased it.
