Antiquarian civil war book 1867 A Youth’s History Of the Great Civil War HTF

This is a very hard to find book. It is the second edition (1867) the title page is a bit faded (but legible) it is full of description and explanation of individual battles and strategies. It is not necessarily a book solely for young people. The author R G Horton does interject his opinions and feelings often. Originally published one year after the war 1866 this is the second edition from 1867. A must have for the civil war and American history buffs alike. The binding is tight and sound with external edge wear. The first colored end page is torn and it appears one blank end pages is missing … otherwise all pages are firmly bound and accounted for with advertising for other publications at the back. I would rather not bundle this book so it can be packed with extreme care. Thanks for looking!
