Antique 12K GF Cameo necklace * unusual find- this cameo is celluloid, but it’s NOT a reproduction, like most celluloids are * circa late 1890s - early 1900s Celluloid was the first synthetic plastic and was used as a substitute for ivory and tortoiseshell * as you can see from the triple-threaded jump ring on the cameo and the matching triple-threaded ring for the clasp, this chain is 100% original to this cameo.
