aliokane Hiya, how do you know this is circa 1800 please? And what size is it? Do you know where it was made, or could take a guess at where the turquoise is from by it’s color and striations? Thank you so much! It’s very beautiful. It looks Indian but I’m no expert 😊

monarchmom @aliokane hi there. I bought this from a reputable antique dealer in Atlanta & this is what I know about it. Antique green turquoise typically originates from India, Mongolia & Egypt. This particular item is rare due it's lack of striations & is embellished with hand strung seed pearls set in 14k gold. It's about 1 inch in length & weighs 3 grams (see additional photos posted).
