Antique 1800-1899 Victorian Majolica 10" Bird Plate Wasmuel Factory in Belgium

This antique porcelain beautiful Victorian majolica bird plate was made at the Wasmuel factory in Belgium about 1890. It features an exotic bird perched in a cherry tree admiring his dinner! The plate is textured, as if the design is etched or carved into the dish. It has a cobalt blue scalloped edge and bunches of cherries, leaves and branches to complete the decoration. The plate has a diameter of 10 inches and is in excellent antique condition. There are no chip, cracks or repairs. There is some fading on the edge and discoloration on the back from age, it would make a great addition to a collection of majolica!
