Antique 1888 English Majolica Rose Pitcher Decor

An antique majolica yellow and brown colored pitcher having a raised red rose decoration. The pitcher is rounded in the bottom with a tall neck ending at a plain scalloped rim and having a spout. The pitcher has an applied brown handle. The bottom of the pitcher is textured, yellow in color and has a black colored open scroll. The tall neck of the pitcher has a red colored rose flower having green leaves and a green stem. The bottom of the pitcher is colored in black and displays an English Pottery Registry Mark made sometime in the late 1800s to the mid 1900s. The pitcher is in very good condition with no obvious chips, breaks or repairs. Dimensions: 8.25"L x 6.5"W x 8.75"H The pitcher weighs over one pound. Maker: Unknown.
