*Rare* Wood trinket box (or pill box) with inlaid copper “1803 Indian head token” created for the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair. Fun collectible or gift for the World's Fair or for a coin collector. The Fair was celebrating the Louisiana purchase from 1803. There are many commemorative coins made for the fair with the years 1803 - 1904 on them. Since the Indian Head Penny was not made until 1858, this was clearly not made in 1803. Metal divider inside to separate pills. Cardboard lining can be removed. Button push to open. Closes securely.
