For your consideration is this beautiful lidded casserole dish, a true antique, manufactured by Three Crown China pf Roschütz, Thuringa, Germany between 1909-1916. The delicate porcelain features a pink and white rose transfer motif and is hand-painted with gold band trim. The bottom of the dish is marked with Three Crown China (3 Crowns) Germany, and it includes double handles and a triangular handle on the lid.
The casserole also has a stenciled floral swag in pale green and a gold swag band, with pale yellow bands on the sides. It is not oven safe and should be used for serving only. The dish holds approximately 1 qt and measures 9 inches in length, 6 inches in height, and 5.8 inches in width, with a depth of 3.1 inches and a weight of 1 lb 14.9 oz. This piece is perfect for collectors of fine china and lovers of Art Nouveau style.Condition: Good overall condition with no chips or cracks observed. Some gold finish loss observed.
