Antique 1940s Turner Courting Couple Framed Print

This is a gorgeous print of a lovely, beautifully dressed Southern belle and her handsomely dressed gentleman beau. This antique Turner print is from the 1940's and is done in pretty pastel shades of pink, burgundy, & blue. It is in the original frame that had nails to hold the print & the glass in place. The antique wood frame is very simple with ridging & the frame paint matches the maroon background of the print. There is beautiful gold scalloped edging on all sides of the print that is the perfect accent. The original wire hanger is still attached. The original backing paper has detached & does show signs of its age, torn in several areas, shown in the pics. This print & frame are in excellent vintage condition, in my opinion. There are a couple of places on the frame where the paint is "scuffed" but no damage to the wood. Under the glass, there appear to be a couple of very small flecks of paper that possibly are from the disintegrated backing paper. I included a close up of these in the last pic. I've read these pieces were given to people who purchased furniture from the company as a thank you. Today, the pieces are collected by Turner enthusuiasts.
