oceanana Hi dear, just a few questions….my grandfather gave me a ring 60 years ago when I was 10. He said it was his mothers. It was beautiful and she was from Calabria. But I lost it being so young. Yours is very close, except the difference was the center oval had blue enamel etched into lovely swirl designs, with touches of blue enamel on the band sides. What does the title mean and your thoughts on what letter it is & the black enamel, much gratitude and blessings, Alisa ✝️💖🙏🏻🙌🥰🦋🐏👏🏼

leo856 @oceanana Hello, could you please clarify what you mean by “title”? Are you referring to the description of the ring? This is an antique ring from the era of the Borbone family, which dates to the 1800s. The front of this ring doesn’t feature any specific initials—it’s simply part of the design. However, I have seen similar rings with letters like “R,” which stands for Ricordo (meaning “Memory” in English), often created in remembrance of someone. Let me know if you have any other questions.

oceanana @leo856 I appreciate you kind and quick response. Yes, I meant your title and the word Bourbon. I did some history on the name. I had wondered about the letter design, possible meaning, I thank you for sharing so much, and rediscovering a long lost memory. Now I see their availability and hopefully finding one possibly with a similar design I once had. You’re a fine seller and again, much gratitude for your knowledge and time, always…blessings to you and your loved ones! Alisa ✝️💖🙏🏻
