Antique 3 ctw SZ 5 Ring Amethyst, Ruby, Citrine, Marcasite 6.63 Gram 925 Stamped

6.63 Gram Original Antique 3 ctw 4 Stone types SZ 5 Ring. Amethyst main, Ruby round (seen under loupe to show inclusions), Citrine round, and sparkly Marcasite. All 3 main stones have crystallization in the 2 Quartz based stones, and whitish crystals from heat treatment of stones. Though gems are not perfect quality under loupe, they are "eye clean, or moderately included." Back in the Edwardian Period (pre-1920) era it was not uncommon to incomplete the "ideal" cuts seen here and instead foil the backs due to less practice cutting and treating stones like the Marcasites here. At this point in time casting was in practice and stone cutting gems was well into practice show in this ring by the completeness of bottom points of each main stone. Marcasites give the ring extra bling! See stamps for original artist (unknown to me after the centuries). I can date this piece by style, "wrapped" Marcasites, stone presentation, and luster and color of gemstones. Front of band is 10mm x 20 mm (1" across, and .5" high). Back of band 4 mm
