Antique 800 Silver Carved Shell Cameo Oval-Shaped Brooch Pendant

Pre-owned; in very good antique condition. Shows signs of wear. An antique 800 silver carved shell cameo brooch pendant in oval-shaped. This piece can be worn as a brooch or pendant. It is marked 800 in the back (see photo #6). An 800 silver stamp on jewelry was commonly used in Europe in between 1872 and 1933; but was not used in the United States for jewelry. This brooch was cleaned and removed most of its tarnishes. Clasp is in working condition but loose. It measures 0.7"W x 1.1"H (including the bale) inch; and weights 3.2 grams.
