strawberrym333 @riglem65 I believe the guy said it is White Sapphire, he wasn't too interested in it as he was testing for diamond and gold. The ring is 925 Silver and the small sparkles are genuine Diamond chips.

strawberrym333 @riglem65 I am unsure of the age, I have had it for about 4years, it came from my ex mother in law's sister, whose jewelry collection is quite old. I got some opal and other pieces from her which she said she had had sinc qe before she got married over 40yrs ago.e

strawberrym333 The "chips" really surprised me as they do not appear (to me) to be diamond at all, however I have never been interested in diamonds so I am not too familiar. The testing tool/machine went haywire when pressed against the fragments which he referred to as "chips".
