The Company was established in the mid 1860’s by Phillip Danforth Armour and John Plankinton, Armour and Company was a meat packing business that by the turn of the century had grown into one of the largest companies in the United States. Many of those sales derived from the processing of all the parts of the animal - “everything but the squeal” - making such products as glue, lard, gelatin, and fertilizer. The laboratories created many of these derivative products and these bottles are examples from the late 1890s.
These bottles are 8 inches tall and 2.5 inches x 2.5
