Selling off my childhood baseball glove. It is over 50 years old. It was my brother’s glove for a couple of years before it was handed down to me when I started playing Little League in the early 1970’s. The brand is unknown, but likely not a major brand as my family did not have a lot of money for sports equipment. I used this regularly for league games and neighborhood pick-up games, as well as generally practicing and drills up until the early 1980’s when I stopped played and my hands got too big for the mitt. This is a mitt designed for the smaller hands of elementary and junior high kids. The leather is worn, but still holds up. The stitching and lacing are all intact. I never had anyone to hand this down to myself (my daughter did use it for T-Ball one year, but she never really liked the game much)…so I am hoping this can go to a good home for a young ballplayer who maybe can’t afford an expensive new glove (or even a used one can cost a small fortune.
