Antique Black Bowler Hat Charlie Chaplin Halloween Costume

Antique bowler/derby hat, unsure of actual age or maker. This isn't like a normal soft felt hat. It's more like a stiff base with flocking. Also, curiously, there are two small metal grommeted holes on both sides. Not sure if these were anchor points for something, or if they were just meant as a vent. Condition isn't the best (please view ALL photos), but this would be PERFECT for a Charlie Chaplin cosplay or Halloween costume! Would also be super for a Steampunk look and/or for Burning Man. Sold as-is. Size is 7 1/8, per the tag on the inside.
