Antique Boin Taburet 950 Sterling Silver Footed Triangular Bowl #5197

Antique 950 sterling silver triangular footed bowl by Boin Taburet, circa 1890s. The Boin Taburet partnership was established in 1873 by George Boin and Emile Taburet. They are accredited with the revival of the Louis XV Style in silver in the 1880s. This gorgeous, heavy bowl with a flourish and floral accents is a beautiful example of their work. Measures 2 7/8" high to top of the flourish, 6 5/8" wide, 5 1/2" long. Weighs 369.5g, 237.6dwt. Marked: BOIN TABURET A PARIS, minerva hallmark (french silver mark indicating 950 fineness), GB (George Boin makers mark) Very nice condition, with some tarnish and slight surface scratches.
