Antique British Sterling Silver Locket WJP 1903 Chester Edwardian Horseshoe Crop

Beautiful sterling silver locket charm made by British maker William John Pellow. Based on the hallmarks I believe this was made in Chester in 1903. Features a lovely horseshoe design on the front. Locket measures approximately 1" long not including bale. Some roman numerals are scratched on the inside on both sides, I believe it reads XII. Locket weighs approximately 5.2 grams. Condition: Closes well and stays closed. Shows light surface wear including light scratching, dings, rubbing and oxidization. There are no frame inserts or anything else inside the locket. No chain. *Jewelry contains small parts or components which could pose a choking hazard if ingested.
