Antique Buffalo Bill Cody Wild West Transfer Print Stoneware Mug Telegraph Poles

Up for offer here is an antique, 19th century, 1880's, stoneware mug with black transfer printed, or transferware, action packed scene of 4 four renegades, cowboys or banditos shooting guns in the air while on horseback, likely an early Buffalo Bill Cody Wild West Show depiction. In the background are wood telegraph line poles and black birds in the sky. This in unmarked. It was likely produced by an American stoneware pottery company located in the areas of Ohio, West Virginia and Virginia. Condition is fair. Overall stoneware body of vessel is thick and solid, however, the handle has been sheer broken off and gone, there is one small chip on rim and one visible hairline crack, no cracking nor toning discoloration. Measures 4.75" high x 3.25" wide.
