Antique Central Glass Clear #796 Rope & Thumbprint Lidded Compote Married Lid

Welcome to Celestial Nonesuch For Sale Today:  An antique clear glass lidded compote by Central Glass in the pattern numbered '796' and named 'Rope & Thumbprint', circa late 19th century. The lid is married and not original to the piece. Overall, good condition. Chip out of the base. Some flake chips on the interior. There is a significant scratch  which looks like a hairline - across the thumbprints of the base, detectable with a fingernail from the outside - NOT detectable from the inside.
