Chinese chop marks on the top of the hen's back and the underside of the hen indicate that it could have been an imperial statue in the emperor's palace, a nobleman's or an important official's home. This beautiful golden cast brass statue is a stunning piece of Chinese artistry. It features a magnificent hen with lotus flowers and decorations adorning her neck and breast.
