What Is the Rarest Color of Marbles? Onion-skin or transparent, copper-core marbles are usually the rarest. This Antique Glass Shooter Marble, known as Vacor Stardust, is a glass copper core marble rolled in orange frit glass. Initially named Stelaris, it was distributed in the U.S. under Qualatex's Vacor packaging. This flawless marble was discovered in an old, empty Skippy peanut butter jar filled with marbles from the 1940s.
