Circa 1895 . Rare collectors item. Lovely etched clear glass Gin bottle with frosted pour spout. This was manufactured by The Nethsteam Distillery, in Rotterdam Netherlands, near Scheidham, which was known as the Gin capital of the Netherlands. The best distilleries were destroyed in World War II.
Notice, in the center of their shield, the face of a man very intricately etched into the glass. No one does this anymore!
Has an applied handle. Opening of pour spout is 9/16” dia. Overall height is 10”, Dia. 3-3/8”
No chips, but has a very small hazy patch left of where you see the Amsterdam banner. Also note pic of the bottom, which is commensurate with the age of the piece.
From my own collection, owned over 40 years purchased from an Antique shop in New England.
