CALDWELL & CO., NEW YORK, FIRST QUARTER 20TH CENTURY The rectangular top applied with a central foliate cartouche , within pierced scrolling foliate decoration with regal amulets to the corners, the sides and underside of the hinged lid similarly decorated, the chrome-lined divided interior with lift-up lid with central cartouche and monogram, with makers plaquette engraved E. F. Caldwell & Co. New York 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) high; 16½ in. (42 cm.) wide; 12½ in. (32 cm.) deep There is a repair to be had with the hinged interior lid. All parts present.
