Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Hand Mirror

This is a gorgeous sterling silver hand mirror that has lots of personality. From the earlier part of the Edwardian Period it has a couple of dings, mostly on the side which makes them not very noticeable. But it makes one wonder why. Perhaps it has been thrown at a lover's head? Who knows. But I am sure there's a story there. It has wonderful patina as it hasn't been polished for ages. That makes it difficult to show the exact color. It reflects the light. But it is a dark unpolished silver. There is a monogram in Edwardian script that I can't decipher together with the 1908 number. On the side is the word Sterling together with a tiny EB. The mirror is beveled and has some scratching and spots in the mirror glass mostly around the rim It is a medium size mirror but fairly heavy so one knows that it is silver.
