Antique Elgin Working Pocket Watch Chain & Knife This is a beautiful functional antique Elgin pocket watch. I’ve had it for some years myself, but I do not know the history of it. I simply enjoy listening to the Strong TikTok, and find it very soothing. I’ve tried to document the condition and all markings. I cannot verify its age or the materials as I know nothing about antique watches. What I do know is that it seems to work and keep relatively good time as long as you wind it. You will notice tarnishing and wear in harmony with the age of this piece. It is not in perfect condition, but it has also not been abused. bsa441 I know watches and this is a fine watch. I'm unable to establish the year of manufacture from the photographs. I'm surprised to not find the year with the back covers open. Remember, this is an Elgin, not a top of the line make; but, still a good watch. I'm undecided about an offer as I feel your asking price is a little high. I'll get back to you if the watch has not already sold.
