Who would have thought that butter pats- those tiny dishes that are sometimes mistaken for a child's toy- have become all the rage! I have an old collection of them and decided the time is right to begin sharing them with others.
These were made in the Melba Pattern by the Ridgeways Earthenware Company in England. This pattern was made between 1879 and 1920. The pattern is mainly greens and browns. They are semi-porcelain and maker's mark is on the back.
I have three of them for sale at $10 each plus shipping. Listing is for ONE butter pat.
Let me know if you want 1, 2, or all 3. I can ship all three in the same box.
They are in very good condition with no chips or breaks.
HomeOnTheHill has been in business since 2001 and is the perfect place to find unique items. All the items are picked from various sources by individuals with great taste and knowledge of vintage and antique items. Some items have come from England or Scotland and have been shipped recently. Others come from estates that are being sold due to down-sizing. Because of the vintage and antique nature of the items, please be aware that most show some kind of wear as they have been used in the past. I do examine the items closely and will list any significant damage on each item. I also ship using Priority Mail or Fed Ex with insurance to protect the buyer against loss or damage during shipping.
