This Staffordshire two-piece set is a rare find for collectors of antique and vintage decorative cookware. The oval-shaped tureen features a hand-painted polychromatic hen on a yellow-gold base and comes with a lidded nest for storage. The RARE Hard to Find Pottery piece was produced in the United Kingdom during the Edwardian era, between 1901-1910.
The set is in excellent used condition and has been well-maintained with hand-washing only. The dimensions of the tureen are 5.5" x 3.5" with a diameter of 14.5" around, while the nest measures 4" x 3.5".
The tureen is a traditional Victorian style with a semi-matte finish and is a beautiful addition to any collection.
