Antique French Cut Steel Shoe Buckles

Rare, Glittering and in nearly perfect condition, includes the box, these French cut steel buckles were a Victorian staple from the mid 1800s through the 1920s. This particular pair was manufactured bt John Wanamaker likely in the 1920s, potentially earlier. These could be clipped onto a shirt or dress as a brooch, made into a variety of other accessories or used as they were originally intended. Two included, measures 1 1/2" by 2" Thanks for looking.
