Antique George III sterling silver snuff box by Cornelius Bland. Very impressive antique snuff box with interior gilt finish. Measures 2 3/4" long x 1 3/4" wide x 5/8" deep when closed. Weighs 85.7g, 55.1dwt. Marked: CB, lion (sterling silver hallmark), leopard head (London assay mark), D (date mark indicating 1799), Queens Jubilee hallmark Very nice condition, with some tarnish, surface scratching and discoloration marks.
