The Carl Schumann Porcelain Factory was established in 1881 in Arzberg, Bavaria, Germany. The company was particularly known for its finely detailed designs and the use of reticulation in its products. The dessert plate here features intricate cut-out designs along the edges, known as reticulation. This technique involves creating delicate, lace-like patterns in the porcelain, adding a touch of elegance and complexity. The central part of the plate is adorned with a transfer-printed blue, yellow , and orange floral motif. Gold trim around the outer edge. Whether used for display or special occasions, this little plate adds a touch of historical sophistication to any setting.
