Antique Gold Plated Wire Rimmed Eyeglasses Spectacles Oval Lenses c1920s This listing is for a pair of true antique Windsor eyeglasses. The style is like the eyeglasses that John Lennon wore. The glasses are not marked for gold content, and I believe they are gold plated. They were made with a w-shaped saddle bridge, helping to date them. This bridge is an older style not meant to have the pads you find on most wire rimmed glasses made today. These handsome antique vintage Windsor eyeglasses are incredibly wearable and stylish by today's standards. Measurements: The frame width is approx. 4.45". The lens width is approx. 1.4". The nosepiece/bridge measures about .9" wide. The temple arms are about 6.5" long (following the curve of the arms to the end). ~14 g Condition:  Good antique condition with some tarnish and patina present on frame. The case has age and wear.
