Antique Gre Poir Pressed Cloth Doll Human Hair 1920s French Jointed Rare

Here’s an extremely rare pressed cloth doll by the Gre Poir company of France. This doll is about 17” tall, jointed, with human hair and a lovely painted face. Her nose was missing when she was rescued and professionally restored. The clothes are handmade reproductions. The doll does have some water marks and other wear, but she’s still lovely, and frankly her condition puts this extraordinarily rare doll into the reach of less-affluent collectors.
