Antique Hand Colored Engraving Little Girl After Sir Joshua Reynolds 1914

Antique hand-colored and hand-signed. Publishing information along the top states “London 1914” then fades. Signature of colorist at the bottom but I’m unable to discern the artist’s name. (Possibly Herbert L. Goddard?) The unique round wooden frame is original to the piece. (Small flaw can be seen at about 4 o’clock.) Old nails are still in place around the back and it’s covered in the original black kraft paper. Diameter measures just under 10”. Penelope Boothby (the model) became the iconic image of innocence for the age. She appeared frequently in Joshua Reynolds’ work and many others in the eighteenth century. The original painting was completed in 1788.
