Antique Handmade Bride Wedding Dress Doll Irish Linen Decorative Cotton Original Tag Wiscassett Doll 50206 This adorable doll is from our collection of vintage Dolls. This handmade doll is made on a cardboard cone. Inside the cone is an original label: WISCASSETT 50206 COMBED YARN NO. 161 OPERATOR 31-2 There is another original round paper tag in white and blue: Irish Linen Decorative Cotton Her face is hand painted. She carries a small bouquet of flowers with large beige ribbons. Her wedding dress is made of fine lace that is handmade. Just stunning. Two layers of lace. The head dress is a long piece of lace that goes down her back secured by a small flower on each side of her forehead. The bodice is made out of the fine Irish lace as well. I have tried to research this doll to no avail. We know it is from the 1930's since it belonged to my great grandmother. A wonderful, unique piece. Please see the photos to complete the description.
