Antique Handmade Leather Satchel Handbag Turn Lock Closure Purse Unique handcrafted, half-dome shaped leather purse. No maker’s mark. Antique turn lock closure. Silver metal featuring a heraldic shield design with a lion-like figure, reminiscent of the Scotland Royal Coat of Arms. The Lion Rampant is the Royal Standard of the King or Queen of Scots and is the personal banner of the monarchs. The Lion Rampant flag depicts a lion, the king of beasts, rearing up with three of its clawed paws outstretched as if in battle. Original patina, wear, scratches in leather.
