Antique Hartmann Train Ship Steamer Trunk Protective Cushion Top Wardrobe 1900s Original Brocade & Wooden Hangers This amazing piece is from our large collection of vintage luggage. So very handsome piece of antique luggage/trunk/wardrobe. The trunk is in amazing shape. There are no keys and it is missing the small suitcase that would sit on the side with the brocade. The brocade has an elaborate Victorian design measuring 34 1/2" x 17". The fabric is perfect and the snaps (LIFT THE DOT) are clean and function. It is a lovely shade of chartreuse. The cushion area with the Hartmann logo is also in great shape. The drawers have lovely metal pulls with a subtle design on them. Where there are to be locked in place it indicates on the lock " HARTMANN PAT. PEN.". The wardrobe is approx. 42" tall. When fully opened it it 44" wide. The trunk has a beautiful patina in muted shades of beige and khaki. Supported by black metal and brass hardware. The trunk truly is a fantastic conversation piece.
