Antique INCREDIBLE condition Chainmaille Evening Bag

1900’s Chainmaille Antique kiss lock bag, has sterling silver hardware & support, (making this a more high end version). Edged German Silver case, (40% silver w/ zinc alloy). Mesh Evening Bag measures aprox 5.5"×8" w/chain strap drop of 6”. This is a Collector's Estate piece• Edwardian era Evening Bag. What makes this SO rare? Most chainmaille bags from this era have damage, this one has ZERO! Not one piece of mesh or chain mail is missing, I’m talking no holes, no detaching from the case, this is INCREDIBLY well preserved. Family provenance revealed it was used once, (debutante ball 1902), &!packed in a hope chest. In just incredibly beautiful antique condition. This is in its original unpolished state, (I used silver cloth to find the sterling hallmark on the kisslock), this bag has absolute perfect linkage, For over 100 years old, this is perfectly ready to be taken out on the town & is tough. Brooch shown for deco only & unavailable for purchase. The hallmarks are hard to read, but the sterling mark is shown on top of the kisslock. Both sides of the embossed frame have no dents to the metal, minimal age related tarnish. The intricate raised design on this has a blank cartouche on each side to have initials engraved. You aren’t going to find one in better condition for the age. This is even more stunning piece in person.
