This piece is fantastic! Notice the bale is made of Ivory as well. So beautifully made, so much detail. This is genuine Antique Ivory- not to be confused with bone or any other imitation. This has depth and weight to it. And, the color is spectacular. Notice the width. I would keep this, but I have a larger one that I do not wear enough. This pendant was made to be worn. You will probably never see one this large again, they are so hard to find now. Measures 2” plus the bale. This is a real treasure.🌺

maryadorns Be careful about selling ivory pieces, it’s now illegal with the US government and Poshmark.

wrosegold I don’t believe vintage ivory is illegal to sell here? I had a stunning ivory necklace I sold, the deeper the color the older it is. It’s a good piece for discussion however. I’m so glad we don’t allow elephants to be tortured that way anymore 🩶🐘🩶 I still have 6 ivory bracelets from the 1920’s that I cannot part with, they were passed down to me in my family.

bigred2019 @maryadorns I was wondering the same thing. I have a few pieces of ivory that was passed out to me from my grandmother from the early 1900s also and I’m just holding onto them.
