Kodak No 1A Pocket 116 Roll Film Folding Camera with a 131mm f/7.9 lens.
First introduced in 1926, from 1929 an 'iridescent' finish was applied to the body. The body of the camera is metal, the film spools are held in a tray formed by the back, sides and ends of the camera. The lens/shutter and bellows are contained in a separate section that drops into the tray. It used Autographic 116 film which allowed photographers to open a tiny door on the back of the camera and write notes about the exposure which would show up on the border of the image upon developing
1A Pocket Kodak is a folding camera for 2½×4¼" size exposures on type 116 film rolls.
