Antique Kuchi Tribal Toaq Necklace

Sharing this absolutely exquisite piece from my collection. This is a silver coil "toaq" (or "torc") necklace worn by the nomadic Kuchi tribe of Northern Afghanistan. Marvelous patina silver. Coils are large gauge and wound even - a beautiful example of smithwork. This item has been handled with inspection gloves. New photos to be uploaded in the next few weeks.
