Interesting garment. Looks like it's made from antique petticoats in modern times as the underlining is polyester. Given the length, I'm guessing it was made in the 1960's. If it's in excellent condition, there should be a BOHO bride for it. If you can do so, try showing it on someone it fits or a mannequin. You should get much more than you've asked for it. Good luck!

@bbbabe3715 oh wow your dress is lovely! Thank you so much for the advice. I know a woman at the farmer's market made it with an antique lace. But I think it was made more recently...in the past 5 or so years

Tagged you to a dress to show how well it could be displayed and how much the other is priced at. May not go anywhere as high, but to the right individual it could. Either way, there's quite a bit of variation in price @ 10x what you've asked. <3

@coastalgirl707 Not my dress I tagged, but have been in Antiques business for decades and textitles and dresses have always been my primary interest. Yes, if you know who made it, then certainly - the length has been in vogue again. I was only guessing as it seemed you'd discovered it in some treasure trove from time ago!

@bbbabe3715 yes your dress is modeled so beautifully. I will definitely have to start asking my friends what size they are & if anyone would be interested in modeling some garments. I really appreciate your suggestions! Thank you so much

Happy to have helped! <3

A friend who moved left me some of her clothes to sell. & I was amazed that she had bought it from the woman who made it, also thinking it was something from a few decades ago

@coastalgirl707 Who knows - your chosen model may fall in love with it & have to have it!
