Antique Lace Trim, Crescent Moon Floral Pattern, Salvaged Remnant

For crafting / repurpose / restoration projects. Beautiful antique embroidered lace border, likely salvaged from a petticoat. This is a more unique floral pattern, I love that the leaves and flowers look like little suns and crescent moons. Cream colored, has a beautiful shine under light. Backed on an off-white silk. This piece is remarkably clean and free of any obvious stains/discoloration, just needs some gentle TLC to get the wrinkles and folds pressed down again. Measures 97in long (silk backing is a little shorter on one end) and a little under 3in wide. This item is part of a large collection that was stored in a trunk for many years, and carries the expected “musty antique” scent. As with all antiques, it shows signs of wear and age. Larger flaws will be noted in description, however, there may be additional small marks / holes / discoloration present. Please review all photos carefully.
