Antique Meiji Japanese Igezara Transferware Plate - 12” Flow Blue White Brown​

This listing is for an antique Japanese Igezara Transferware plate. It is is in very good condition considering the age, it is likely from the late Meiji period. There are no chips or cracks. The food has discoloration from age and there are marks in the pottery itself from the antique kiln firing process. It measures slightly larger than 12" inches in diameter. Igezara plates were designed to be used, it is a heavy pottery and very sturdy. Because of their relative affordability, Igezara has gotten many collectors in the recent years.
