Taylor - signed name is on each plate but a different location. Makers Mark plus an embossed Mintons mark under the glaze on some plates. 3 have the Retailer's mark. Antique Approximate Measurements Rim 7.75" Pre-owned. Very Good Condition for age. some fine crazing and surface damage - see photos for examples Davis Collamore & Co. was a high-end New York City importer of porcelain and glass, headed by Davis Collamore. The company was known to rival the high end institutions in Tiffany & Co. and Black, Starr & Frost. Mr. Collamore commissioned designs from Copeland Spode and Thomas Minton, featuring hand-painted details over transfer printed outlines and gold gilding. Porcelain by Haviland, Royal Worcester, and Villeroy & Boch also appear with the firm's stamped underglaze marks integrated with the manufacturer's. It has several locations in NYC including one that opened at 48th and Fifth Avenue in 1911. I believe the business was closed in 1920.
