~ Antique Japanese hand-painted moriage porcelain trivet - 6” diameter ~ From Morimura / Nippon with green back stamp c. 1911-1921. ~Featuring a colorful, hand-painted scene of serene green palm trees, a sailboat gliding down the Nile River and two distant pyramids. Accented by a gorgeous wash of lavender orange sky in the background. Exquisite colors and details ! ~Likely inspired by the Egyptian Revival Era ( 1880-1930), which is when this lovely work of art was crafted. ~ A unique, collectible Asian porcelain piece.
